Absolutely. And you should.

Private chef service isn't reserved for large groups or special occasions with a dozen guests. In fact, some of our most memorable experiences have been intimate dinners for two — anniversaries, proposals, quiet celebrations, or simply a desire to elevate an evening without the noise and crowds of a restaurant.

Here's what you need to know about booking a private chef dinner for just two people on 30A.

Yes, We Cook for Two

We welcome bookings for two guests. The experience is the same — restaurant-level cuisine prepared in your vacation rental or home, served with care, and cleaned up completely before we leave.

The difference is intimacy. When it's just the two of you, the evening becomes something entirely personal. Your chef can pace the meal to your conversation, answer questions about the preparation, and adjust on the fly if you want to slow down or skip ahead.

Many couples tell us this is the highlight of their vacation. No reservation anxiety, no rushing to make a time slot, no competing with other diners for attention. Just the two of you, a beautiful meal, and the privacy of your own space.

How Pricing Works for Two Guests

Our menus are priced per person, and we have minimum spend requirements to ensure the experience is financially viable for both sides.

Private chef experiences and delivery meals both work well for two guests, with different minimum spend thresholds depending on the service style. To meet minimums, you can add wine pairings, premium protein upgrades, additional courses, or choose higher-tier menus like the Michelin-Style Tasting Menu.

Visit our website for current pricing and packages, or reach out for a detailed proposal tailored to your preferences. Everything is transparent and outlined clearly when you inquire — no surprises, no hidden fees. You'll know exactly what the total is before you book.

What the Experience Looks Like for Two

The format is identical to what we offer for larger groups, just more intimate.

Arrival: Your chef arrives approximately one hour before your selected start time. We bring all ingredients, tools, and equipment. You provide the kitchen and a table set for two.

Preparation: We work in your kitchen, and you're welcome to watch. Many couples enjoy sitting at the kitchen island with a glass of wine, asking questions and seeing the meal come together. It becomes part of the experience.

Service: The first course is served at your exact start time. Each course is plated, brought to your table, and paced to your preferences. If you want more time between courses, we adjust. If you want a faster pace, we accommodate.

Cleanup: Once the meal is finished, we handle complete kitchen cleanup. Dishes, counters, trash — everything. You can settle into the rest of your evening without lifting a finger.

Menu Recommendations for Two Guests

All of our curated menus work beautifully for two people. The choice comes down to the occasion and your preferences.

For a romantic or milestone celebration: The Michelin-Style Tasting Menu offers nine courses with wine pairings and service directly from the executive chef. This is the most elevated experience we offer, and it's designed for exactly this kind of evening.

For an elegant but approachable dinner: The Signature Private Chef Experience features four plated courses with seasonal highlights. It's refined without being formal, and it adapts to your tastes.

For a classic steakhouse-style meal: The Chophouse Dinner brings prime beef and Gulf seafood to your table. Even with just two people, the family-style format feels generous and indulgent.

You can also build a fully custom menu if you have specific preferences or dietary needs. We'll work with you to design something that fits the moment.

Why Couples Choose Private Chef Service

The reasons vary, but the outcome is the same: an unforgettable evening.

Anniversaries: Celebrating a milestone in the place you're vacationing feels more personal than a crowded restaurant. You control the environment, the timing, and the tone of the evening.

Proposals: We've been part of dozens of proposals. The privacy of your rental, the anticipation of a beautiful meal, and the moment planned between courses — it's a memory that lasts.

Just because: Sometimes there's no occasion. You're on vacation, you want to feel pampered, and you'd rather stay in than go out. That's reason enough.

One couple told us, "We didn't want to get dressed up, deal with reservations, or share the evening with strangers. This was perfect." That sentiment comes up often.

Logistics: What You Need to Provide

Very little. We bring everything required to prepare and serve your meal.

You provide:

  • A working kitchen (stove and oven)

  • A table set for two (plates, silverware, glassware)

  • Your presence

We bring:

  • All ingredients

If your vacation rental doesn't have adequate tableware, let us know when you book. We can bring what's needed.

Booking Your Dinner for Two

Both 30A vacation rentals and private homes work perfectly for this experience. We serve the entire South Walton area, from Inlet Beach to Destin.

Recommended booking timeline:

For peak season (March through September) and holidays, book 4-6 weeks in advance. Off-season dates typically need 2-3 weeks' notice. Last-minute requests within 7 days are sometimes available — reach out and we'll check availability.

What happens after you inquire:

We'll respond within 24 hours to confirm availability and provide a detailed proposal with menu options, pricing, and next steps. Once you approve, a 25% deposit secures your booking. The balance is charged the day after your meal.

The Bottom Line

Private chef service for two people is not only possible — it's often the most meaningful way to experience what we do. The intimacy, the personalization, and the complete focus on your evening create something restaurant dining can't match.

You don't need a crowd to justify a private chef. You just need a desire for something special.

Reserve your dinner for two or explore our menu options to start planning your evening.
